All I want is to sync simple notes none of the fancy features of the new versions. Please, Evernote, surely you have at least a rough idea of compatibility. I will need to stop using it on the PC, since mostly I use my Macs. A note taking app that does not sync on my in-use machines is almost completely useless.

Now Evernote only works on my PC (which I don't like to use). And it was working perfectly fine for all my needs 'till Evernote broke its old client access.

No, don't tell me to upgrade my old computers because that is not a possibility I can't afford a new one. But both the newest v 10 (or probably any v10) and the Legacy version are too new for my old Macs. My ancient Evernote client (v 3.3) stopped working on May 28, 2021, apparently now blocked by the wonderful people at Evernote.
